Typical Grant Cycle Timeline

August: Orientation for new applicants

Early October: Grant applications for the following summer are submitted electronically. The application is shared among funders of SAIL programs in Birmingham and the Black Belt. Follow-up may occur in October and November.

Mid-December: Grant decisions are communicated to applicants.

December → February: Grants are disbursed.

August: End-of-summer reports are submitted by each program.
