A Culture of Data-driven Continuous Improvement
Using data can be intimidating in any field, but this is especially true in education; SAIL maintains a culture of continuous improvement in which data is used to highlight and replicate success; a flashlight, not a hammer. |
♦ SAIL programs track an extensive set of metrics and submit a standard report at the end of the summer. Reports are combined and the composite report is shared with the SAIL community.
♦ A report of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) is prepared for each program to highlight the most important current-year outcomes, the three-year trend, and how the program compares with peers.
♦ Programs convene in September to discuss results with their peers, and break into small groups to discuss strategies for growth and improvement.
